HEHE! TWIN FOUR – STOREY BUILDING FILLED WITH EXPIRE PRODUCTS IN BALOGUN MARKET 


The products which were fully stocked in the two buildings have expiry dates dating as far back as 2004 while some had expired in 2013 and some in 2016.

– An importer, Joseph Udeh, owner of Jouf Nigeria Limited has been arrested for changing the expiry date on the products

– Udeh however said he has been inviting NAFDAC officials to destroy the product but got no reply from them

An importer, Mr. Joseph Udeh, owner of Jouf Nigeria Limited, located at No. 10 Faith Street, off Comfort Oboh Street, Kirikiri Road, Apapa, Lagos has been arrested.

Udeh who deals in importation and selling of popular cosmetic products is accused of allegedly changing the expired dates on the products to new ones, Punch reports.

The products which were fully stocked in the two buildings have expiry dates dating as far back as 2004 while some had expired in 2013 and some in 2016.

Udeh whose shop is located at Balogun Market, Trade Fair complex while defending himself to pressmen said he has made several calls to National Agency for Food and Drug
